Submission Details

  • To complete your intent to submit go to the YouNoodle Web Portal
  • Step 1: Submit an Entry
  • Step 2: Complete all required fields - In description section just list type of business (You do not have to attach business plan at this point)
  • Step 3: Check your email and you will be requested to confirm access to YouNoodle portal. Confirm by clicking the link in the email.
  • Step 4: Come back anytime under your login and complete your business plan submission

2010 Business Plan Competition Winners

   First Place $10,000 - Housing Innovations is a start-up real estate investment firm that is being formed to meet the growing need for affordable housing in the New Orleans area in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Southern University at New Orleans
   Second Place $6,000 - The Bison Surplus specializes in grocery delivery by providing a convenient affordable delivery service to residents in "housing centers" such as condominiums, apartment complexes, and college dormitories. Howard University
   Third Place $4,000 - Fight for Light is a non-profit organization, working to promote and deploy LED lighting as a solution to the ecological downsides of incandescent and compact fluorescent lighting. Morehouse College
