Glenn Arnold
Director of Programs Management, Infrastructure Management Group at EMC
Glenn Arnold is currently serving as Director of Programs Management, in the Infrastructure Management Group (IMG) at EMC. He is responsible for driving and program managing the delivery of EMC Ionix Network Management products to the market place. He facilitates the Product-Line Leadership Team which sets strategy for the business unit, and he leads the Suite Program Management, which brings the unit’s next generation products to market.
Glenn has background and experience that includes strategic technology investigations & evaluations, product management, program management, business operations, and product engineering.
Prior to his current role, Glenn was responsible for strategic technology investigations in the Chief Technology Office and for driving the Chief Development Officer’s operation. He started his tenure at EMC leading Infrastructure Software Program Management. During that time, he managed a program management team that introduced new infra-structure software products such as Invista and PowerPath Volume Manager to the market and managed those products through the product lifecycle.
Prior to joining EMC, Glenn spent 20 years at Lucent Technologies/AT&T. At Lucent Glenn held various positions in computer design, product engineering, international strategic supplier management, product management and quality. He has worked in multiple business areas, including computers, wireless infrastructure, voice switching and data networking.
Glenn has a MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Business and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He also has a Bachelors Degree in Physics from Morehouse College and a second Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Glenn is an active member of his church and he currently resides with his wife and four children in Hopkinton, MA.
